JEWISH HERITAGE EUROPE
An Online Resource Centre
ABOUT US
Welcome to JEWISH-HERITAGE-EUROPE.EU, a new website to showcase the rich diversity of Jewish material culture in Europe. This site will bring together, in one place, new and existing information about museums, archives and historic sites, including Jewish quarters, synagogues, cemeteries and Holocaust sites.
This website is designed to serve as a resource centre and information clearing house for a wide audience including museum staff, historic building preservationists, architects, art historians, educators, travellers, genealogists and the just plain curious. Different levels of information will be made available to serve those new to the world of Jewish art, architecture, and other aspects of Jewish material culture, and to assist the international community of Jewish heritage professionals.
If you need information or wish to contribute material for the website, please contact us. Please send all information and/or enquiries about Jewish heritage events, sites and organisations to: editor@jewish-heritage-europe.eu. Hard copy press releases, articles, newsletters, books, etc., can be mailed to: Editor, Jewish Heritage Europe, Box 210, 120 Julian Place, Syracuse, New York 13210, USA. If this site doesn't offer what you need, let us know! In the months ahead we will continue to expand. Keep coming back!
