Caribbean Volunteer Expeditions will continue its ongoing inventory of Jamaica’s historic Jewish cemeteries. Our documentation constitutes the core collection of the emergent Jamaican Jewish Archive, a digitized humanities web site being created in collaboration with the Digital Library of the Caribbean (www.dloc.com). Hi Rachel,
Did this expedition ever happen? I ask because I’ve taken numerous photos of cemeteries outside of Havana, Cuba. One Ashkenazi and one Sephardi. I’d be interested in participating on further expeditions of this sort. I am a semi-professional photographer (I have formal photography BFA and worked as one for 5 years, exhibit art photos now, but earn my living in another field.)
It would be nice to hear back from you when you have time.
