The Prague Jewish Museum has recently posted the first five of a projected 10 brief promotional videos aimed at giving a visual introduction to the museum, its venues, its activities and its collections.
So far, the videos, each about a minute long, include virtual tours of the Pinkas, Spanish and Klausen synagogues, the Ceremonial Hall, and the Old Jewish Cemetery. Planned videos include one the Maisel Synagogue tour as well as on the museum’s publishing activities, the work of its conservators/restorers, the Robert Guttmann Gallery and a general round-up on the museum and its activities as a whole.

Speaking about Prague, does anyone have any idea why Prague had a “Zegeuner Shule”? That means a Gypsy Synagogue, which is very strange. But as far as I can learn “Zigeuner” has never had any other meaning than Gypsy.
